Matt finds working as an Independent Advisor Representative rewarding because it allows him to help clients make their financial goals and dreams a reality, thus helping them attain financial freedom in their lives. A graduate of Brockport State University, Matt has a Bachelor of Science degree in both finance and economics; he also has several industry licenses including his FINRA General Securities Representative (Series 7), NASAA-Investment Advisors State Law Exam (Series 66), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 63), General Securities Principal (Series 24) as well as his Life and Health Insurance licenses, and Medicare Supplements and Long Term Care Insurance licenses. Matt strives to exceed what is expected of an Independent Investment Advisor Representative. In 2006, he became a member of the Quest for Excellence program, which is one of the leading consulting organizations for wealth advisors. He attends semi-annual workshops and monthly educational conference calls, which enable him to enhance his infrastructure and elevate his level of service that he provides to his clients. In his leisure time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Timmie and daughter Madison. Matt is a sports fanatic and enjoys golfing, cycling, and attending a variety of sporting events. He is also committed to giving back to his community. Matt serves on the Board of Directors for NC BEGINNINGS, and also is the Vice Chair for the NC Tour de Cure. He has chaired multiple golf tournaments that benefit Safe Child of Wake County, Triangle Community Foundation, and The First Tee of Wake County. He is also a regular supporter of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, National MS Society, MJG Brain Tumor Research Fund, Team Dykeman, Jimmy V Foundation and the Kidney Foundation. 
Nina O'Neal, Partner Investment Advisor noneal@aimnc.com Office (919) 758-8911 Mobile (919) 265-3306 Fax (919) 758-8918 Nina O’Neal’s experience with companies both large and small brought her to Archer Investment Management in November of 2009. She provides comprehensive corporate benefit solutions to all size companies such as retirement plan services, health benefits, group disability coverage, and other supplemental employee benefits. Nina enjoys educating both employees and employers on the benefits available to them as well as how they work for each individual. A graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nina has a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. She also has several industry licenses including the General Securities Representative (Series 7), NASAA-Investment Advisors State Law Exam (Series 66), Life and Health Insurance, and Medicare Supplement and Long Term Care Insurance licenses. Nina began her career in the financial industry in New York, NY. Her interest in the financial markets inspired her to pursue an opportunity with an institutional investment firm, Jennison Associates. While at Jennison Associates, Nina served as the liaison between the clients and the firm. After three years in New York City, Nina moved back to North Carolina to join Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor. Since that time, she has focused on bringing her experience with large pensions, endowments, and corporations both to individuals and to businesses. Nina and her husband, Matt, and their son, Lowe, enjoy spending the weekends together browsing the Farmer's Market, catching up with friends, and playing outside. Nina is an avid reader, loves to play Scrabble or put together puzzles, cooking for friends, and traveling to new countries. Her true passion is educating women and small businesses about how they can make the best financial decisions possible.
